Peacekeeping: RMA Soldiers arrive to CAR

RMA soldiers are being deployed as peacekeeping force in Bangui (CAR), supporting troops in this dangerous city, capital of the Central African Republic, where 5 Chadian soldiers, part of theĀ African-led International Support Mission to the Central African Republic (MISCA), lost their lives in an insurgent attack last wednesday (RIP). The RMA peacekeeping force deployed in CAR has a size of a Battalion equipped with LUVs, LAVs and APCs for a full mobility in the area, Logistics and Maintenace vehicles for full operativity, and medical vehicles and assets for emergencies. Experience in counter-revolt tasks aquired in Kosovo and Serbia could be essential in maintaining peace in the area in case of cvilian violence and confrontations.
